House Washing
What is it
Pressure washing is not always the right tool for the job. Siding, stucco, wood, and painted surfaces need a gentler approach that cleans deep without causing damage. Soft washing uses low pressure and professional grade cleaning solutions to break down and remove mold, mildew, algae, and dirt at the source leaving your home looking fresh and clean without the risk of cracking, chipping, or forcing water behind your siding.
(Important Note) Homes with Hardie board (Cement board) siding require a little extra attention. Because Hardie board is porous it holds onto dirt and mildew in a way that soft washing alone cannot fully address. We hand scrub the entire surface to make sure it gets a thorough, lasting clean. Reach out for a custom quote and we will take care of the rest.

Pressure washing uses high pressure water to blast away surface dirt. Soft washing uses low pressure and specialized cleaning solutions to break down and remove contaminants like dirt, mildew, and algae at the root. Soft washing is safer for delicate surfaces and produces longer lasting results.
-
Yes. That is exactly what it is designed for. The low pressure protects your surfaces while the cleaning solutions do the heavy lifting. It is the recommended method for most residential exteriors.
-
We take precautions on every job to protect your landscaping. We pre rinse plants and surrounding areas before we start and rinse everything down thoroughly when we are done.
-
Every one to two years is a good baseline for most homes. If you live in a zone with lots of construction or notice dirt/mildew/discoloration building up sooner than that it is worth getting it done before it spreads.
-
Sometimes. Oxidation leaves a chalky faded look on vinyl and painted surfaces and soft washing with the right solutions can restore some original color and brightness. Hand scrubbing is the only way to guarantee complete oxidation removal.
